Dao Mentorship: A 9-Month Personal Mentorship Program
This mentorship supports both those deepening their personal practice and those preparing to guide others.
We begin where you are. Your body, nervous system and life circumstances shape your practice over time. Whether your focus is personal healing, energetic cultivation, or teaching, what we develop together has to work in real life — not just in formal practice.
Over time, Qigong stops being something you do and becomes something you live and move from. Energy is cultivated and conserved. Sensitivity develops. The body learns how to regulate and respond with more clarity.
The Dao Mentorship is a long-form commitment. It’s for those ready to practise with devotion and allow their relationship with Qigong to mature — whether that path leads inward, outward, or both.
How the mentorship unfolds
Through Qigong, Daoist philosophy, Yang Sheng Fa and self-healing practices, we build a multi-layered practice that is grounded, sustainable, and internally coherent — one that supports both personal cultivation and the capacity to guide others with integrity.
The mentorship unfolds across seven core modules, held within a one-to-one program and shaped around your needs and intentions. The modules provide structure, while the guidance remains responsive, meeting you where you are and deepening as your capacity develops.
For some, this mentorship is about restoring coherence and stability in their own system. For others, it becomes a process of learning how to hold space, transmit principles clearly, and teach from embodied understanding rather than technique or theory alone.
Depending on your intention, the mentorship may include:
Qigong or Shen Gong Teacher Training
Self-Healing & Inner Development
A path shaped by your interests
Choosing a focus
At the beginning of the mentorship, you select your seven modules of learning based on your interests, experience, and intentions. This gives the mentorship a clear orientation from the outset.
From there, the way those modules are lived and integrated is shaped through one-to-one guidance and ongoing practice. The emphasis is not on completing content, but on embodiment, coherence, and appropriate pacing.
For those drawn toward teaching, readiness is supported through developing stability, clarity and the capacity to transmit principles from lived experience. For others, the focus remains on personal cultivation, healing, and integration into daily life.

Frequently asked questions
What is the benefit of engaging in Qigong, Shen Gong and Daoist Life Nurturing Practices with an experienced teacher and mentor?
Receiving tuition and guidance from an experienced and accredited professional is important, because although it looks easy to copy and follow along on a video, the healing power of Qigong lies in its subtlety, points of distinction and flow. As your teacher and mentor, I can help ensure you are incorporating all of the nuances to receive the most benefits from practice.
What can Qigong and Daoist Life Nurturing practices help with?
Qigong provides many opportunities for physical and mental wellbeing and improvement. Benefits and outcomes are very personal, and it really depends on both the regularity and suitability of the Qigong practice. In my many years as a teacher and mentor, I’ve seen regular Qigong practice help ease anxiety, depression, physical tension and discomfort, as well as provide clarity and a deeper connection to self and others.
What equipment or special clothing do I need for Qigong?
The beauty of these practices is that you can do it practically anywhere, in any clothing, without any equipment. For your session, I recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing.
What happens during a 1:1 session?
It depends on which program, the first session is usually dedicated to understanding your unique needs, ensuring that I can tailor the most effective Qigong and Daoist life-nurturing practices specifically for you. Based on your level of knowledge, fitness, and mobility, we’ll then transition into Qigong or Shen Gong practice. This generally incorporates acupressure, gentle stretches, flowing movements and presence. During a Personal Qi Healing, you’ll simply lay down or sit comfortably.
When will I start to notice and experience benefits from the program?
Regular and consistent practice of Qigong and Daoist Life Nurturing practices delivers the most benefits — much like going to the gym or meditating, it's only when we make it part of our day-to-day lifestyle that we can realise the vast physical, mental and emotional health benefits. In this way, Qigong practice is ultimately lifestyle medicine for the body, mind and spirit.
What kind of results can I expect from the program?
The results you achieve from the program are directly related to the effort, self-responsibility, and openness you bring to it. The more you invest in terms of active participation and willingness to make meaningful lifestyle changes, the more transformative your experience will be.
