Foundations Plus Qigong Teacher Training

Foundations Plus — Online Qigong Teacher Training & Certification

Foundations Plus is for practitioners ready to deepen their practice and develop the skill and integrity required to teach.

This nine-month Qigong training program guides you through Modules 1–9 in a structured, self-paced format, supported by monthly one-on-one online mentorship with Nicole Lee. The integration of independent study and personalised guidance ensures your learning becomes embodied and lived — not simply completed.

For those seeking 60-hour Qigong Teacher Training certification, Modules 1–3 and the associated assessment criteria form the core accreditation requirements. The remaining modules expand your depth of understanding, refine your energetic expression, and strengthen your capacity to transmit and share with authenticity.

This training supports real understanding of Qigong — refining form, embodiment and transmission while developing confident facilitation skills grounded in lived experience. The emphasis is not on accumulating hours, but on cultivating presence, internal coherence and clarity in how you transmit and share this powerful modality.

Expanded accreditation pathways (200–500 hours) are available for those who wish to continue deepening their study, though entirely optional.

Choosing your study format:

How you study can make all the difference in how deeply you integrate Qigong and develop confidence as a teacher. At the heart of any pathway is self-study — your commitment to consistent practice and reflection is what truly builds skill, understanding, and embodied knowledge. Mentorship, whether one-on-one or in a small group, amplifies that self-study, but it cannot replace it.

  • 1:1 Mentorship

    Ideal if you:

    • Thrive with personalised guidance and tailored feedback

    • Want to focus deeply on areas that are most relevant to your practice and teaching

    • Prefer private support as you refine and integrate your learning

Monthly one-on-one sessions with Nicole Lee help you translate self-study into embodied skill, clarity, and confidence, so your practice and teaching feel authentic.

  • Small Group Mentorship

    Ideal if you:

    • Learn well in a group setting and enjoy interacting and discussion with others

    • Value accountability and connection with peers

    • Want guidance while still taking responsibility for your own practice

Group mentorship provides a structured learning environment, live online sessions, and personalised feedback within the group, helping you integrate your self-study while benefiting from the energy and support of others.

The takeaway: Mentorship is invaluable, but your self-practice is the engine of your learning. Choose the format that will best support your consistency, focus, and growth — the depth, skill, and confidence you cultivate will always come from your own dedication to practice.

 Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior experience to join the foundations plus training?

No, but you do need a genuine commitment to regular practice and self-study.

What’s the difference between 1:1 mentorship and small group mentorship?

1:1 mentorship is personalised, giving guidance tailored to your pace, focus, and learning style. Small group mentorship blends live sessions, peer learning, and embedded individual feedback. In both pathways, self-study is the foundation — mentorship amplifies your practice, it doesn’t replace it.

How long does the training take?

Each program runs over nine months, but your growth depends on consistent self-study and practice. This timeframe ensures you have space to integrate what you learn fully.

How much time each week will I need to dedicate to study?

That depends on your pace, but consistent self-study is essential. For most students, dedicating 3–5 hours per week to practice, review, and reflection allows you to integrate the material fully and gain real depth. Mentorship sessions guide and refine your learning, but the growth comes from your own committed practice.

How many modules do I study?

You’ll study nine modules but the focus for the 60-hour accreditation is centered on Modules 1-3.

Do I need to attend live sessions?

Live sessions are part of both mentorship pathways, but the core of your learning is self-study. Live sessions exist to guide, refine, and support you — they help turn practice into embodied skill.

Will I be ready to teach after completing the training?

This pathway equips you with the knowledge, skill, and confidence to share Qigong authentically, but teaching is a continual practice. True mastery grows over time through ongoing reflection, self-study, and refinement.

Can I study modules in a different order?

There’s flexibility to focus on modules that resonate most with you, but strong foundations matter. If you’re seeking certification, Modules 1–3 need to be your priority. Mentorship will help you structure your learning so everything integrates fully, giving your practice and teaching real depth.
