The Art of Qi Healing
Cultivating, Refining, and Directing Energy
Qi Healing is the practice of developing our capacity to perceive, cultivate and work with Qi. It draws on the same foundations as Qigong, while turning our attention more specifically towards the movement, direction and application of Qi for ourselves and others.
Through practices including Awaken the Qi, Tapping Primordial Qi, Buddha Palm Qigong and Raising Qi Consciousness, we explore different ways of cultivating and working with Qi.
These practices develop a deeper understanding of Qi and refine our ability to perceive, cultivate and direct it with greater awareness and skill.
What this develops
A deeper understanding of Qi Healing and the different ways Qi can be cultivated and applied
Greater awareness of the relationship between physical clarity, vitality and the capacity to hold Qi
A stronger and more coherent flow of vital energy through the body
The capacity to cultivate and direct Qi with greater awareness and precision
A foundation for developing Qi Healing skills for self-cultivation and working with others
The Practitioner as the Foundation
Qi Healing begins with our own relationship with Qi. Before we can work effectively with Qi for another person, we need to develop our capacity to perceive it, cultivate it and hold it within ourselves. That means working with the physical body, refining the flow of vital energy and developing the vitality needed to work with Qi consciously.
The practices in this module approach Qi Healing from this foundation. Awaken the Qi, Tapping Primordial Qi, Buddha Palm Qigong and Raising Qi Consciousness each offer a different way of becoming more familiar with Qi and developing the ability to work with it.
Buddha Palm Qigong brings this into a more direct relationship with the hands, while the other practices help develop the internal conditions that support Qi Healing. The emphasis isn't simply on learning techniques. It is on developing the capacity to actually perceive, hold and direct Qi.
If you're drawn to Qi Healing, whether for your own cultivation or to work with others, this module offers a place to develop that foundation. Because the effectiveness of Qi Healing isn't only about what you know how to do. It is also about the condition of the person doing it.
